Nigeria Internal Security and Public Safety Alert System (NISPSAS) a.k.a N-Alerts is owned by the Federal Ministry of Interior on behalf of the Federal Government of Nigeria. Agencies fully collaborating inN-Alerts include: Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Federal Fire Service (FFS), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Nigeria Correctional Services (NCoS) and Nigeria Police Force (NPF).
N-Alerts provides security agencies in Nigeria with 24/7 surveillance monitoring platform to respond to emergencies. Each agencies has its own individual response protocol procedure. N-Alerts enables effective joint collaboration with these agencies in their fields of operations to ensure prompt response to emergency alerts initiated by the public via the N-Alerts mobile app.
N-Alerts also provides the Nigerian public with preventive security protection measures from crime, fire disaster, flood, building collapse, blocked drainages as well as election security monitoring. N-Alerts ensures that the public is safe whether at work, home or on the road.
With the commissioning of N-Alerts mobile app for both virtual, audio and picture reporting of crime and other emergencies. You too can be a security and safety associate, partnering with the Federal Government and security agencies to ensure we make Nigeria a crime free country. The Federal Government has flagged off an interagency training on Nigeria Internal Security and Public Safety Alert System NISPSAS as part of efforts to improve security agencies’ response to various threats to public peace and safety across the country.
